Doing What Feels Good!

Doing anything as long as it feels good is a trap.
Wow! That is what I did all my life. If it felt good, it has to be right! Right? Wrong!

Just because it feels good doesn't mean it is good for me. What is good for me, might not be good for someone else. What is good for someone else, may not be good for me.

This is true about food but very true about life as a whole. If I have been doing something for most of my life, it feels comfortable and because it feels so 'right' I may not thing to change it not recognizing it as part of my disease instead of something I need to change for my recovery and healing.

This is a good reminder. It is better to do what feel right rather than what feels good. Just because it feels good, doesn't make it right.

Just because I have been doing somethings for 5, 10, 20, etc days, weeks, months, years (in my case 70 years), doesn't make it is right. This program is about change. Sometimes things run their course, they no longer serve us and need to be changed, revised, or eliminated from our life.
