A New Direction

Our past has had
Its peaks and its valleys.
We've had adversities
And we've had our rallies.
We have had success
And suffered from mistakes,
From these experiences
We know what it takes.
Let's start today
With the rest of our lives,
And forget the sadness,
The tears and the sighs.
Let's take a new direction
And chart a new track,
To go forward in life
And not look back.
