Meditate On God's Truths

MEDITATE ON GOD’S TRUTHS

The best way to know God’s truths are to read them, remember them and meditate on them. He gave us His truths and His promises for a reason. So we could depend on Him. So we can find hope in Him. So we could have comfort knowing He is near and will take care of us. So we would know He has a plan for us. So we will be saved. There are so many reasons to know and meditate on His truths. His truths will stand forever.

Psalm 119:160 “The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever.” (NLT)

Psalm 119:160 “Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” (KJV)

Dear Lord, we know You truths are good for us. We know Your promises are true and complete. We know Your word can always help us to learn and grow. We want to spend more time in Your word and learn Your truths. Show us how we can best do that in our busy day. Remind us of any wasted time in our lives where we could be studying Your word rather than doing worthless things. We want to know You and Your word and let it sink deep into our hearts. We love You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If we want to remember God’s truths, we have to read and meditate on them .

God’s truths are for us to use to bring hope into our lives. His truths can’t help us if we don’t know them.

We can always know God’s word is true and is for our benefit and our direction.

God’s word is written for us to read, remember and apply to our lives.

In order for God’s word to remain in our hearts, we have to meditate on them.

Psalm 19:14 “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.” (NLT)

Focus: Dig deeper into God’s word, meditate on it and let His word sink deep into our hearts.
