It is much easier to proclaim abstract and remote love, then to step into the midst of living and keep an open heart through the thick of it. Be there where you are needed the most.

Lighten up and play. Remember, you are God's child, so it's ok to be silly, be curious, be fun.

You can mouth the words of a prayer all day long and just waste your time, unless you also speak with your heart. And to speak with your heart means to embody first. If you pray for love, be loving. If you pray for wealth, be generous. If you pray for health, practice health yourself. What is your favorite prayer? How can you begin to embody it?

Trust this peaceful rhythm. If there were constant flow, we would drown in the intensity. Ebb is as necessary as flow.

God wants you to know that ... every day you are choosing either to be grateful or to be disappointed.

You can worry to no end about what you don't have. Or you can marvel at God's breathtaking gifts: the morning dew, the sun, the clouds, the trees, the flowers, the birds. Could you create any of these? These miracles of life are always around you, ready to be celebrated, ready to be welcomed into your life.

Accept your own beauty and your limitations. No sense in trying to be who you are not.

Start off your day in quiet contemplation. If you start to feel anxious, frustrated, angry or drained, go back to that place in your mind and refocus. Do this as often as you need to and see how your life changes for the better.

A bath, a piece of chocolate, fragrance of flowers, music ... these things can be a soothing balm to the spirit.

Faith is not necessary when you know how things are going to work out, - that's knowledge. It's in the time of unknowing that having faith is what sees you through to the other side. Faith is what gives you strength. Faith is that light in your heart that keeps on shining even when it's all darkness outside. Now is the time to keep that faith alive!

God wants you to know that ... some struggle is inevitable.

No one is promised a life which is free from pain, sorrow or grief. It does not mean that anyone walks through these things alone. Have faith and know that all suffering is temporary.

God wants you to know that ... you are only as free as you imagine yourself to be.

There is nothing "out there" that's holding you down, - you are limiting yourself only with your own imagination. And your greatest limits are not even the "cannot" and the "should not", but the places where your imagination hasn't yet gone at all. There has never been a better time for you to open your eyes, let the imagination soar and see what more is possible.
