No Human Power

By doing all of its suggestions that are found in this program of recovery we all are promised we will be relieved, but without each other none of us will ever be able to make it. We all need each other more than any of us even know when we first arrive here in recovery. Sometimes our first clue to this is that the people that are here in recovery seem overly friendly, it's almost like they want something from us. But what none of us understand at that time and will all later come to realize is that they need us as much as we need them. This is because in order for them to keep what they have that was given to them, that we can all see when we're new to this that they have something even though we aren't even sure what that is. They still have it and unless they be willing to give this someone else they will lose it. When most of us first hear this it makes no sense to us or can we believe that this is true we've not heard of anything like this ever before. What they have is no human power but they know that they do have it, and that by having this it has relieved them as well, and the last thing that all of us come to understand about this is unless we allow this to flow to someone as it has to us it goes away for all of us. No matter who any of us are this is true, in order for any of us to keep what all of us have been given we all must be willing to give it to someone else or we won't have it any more for ourselves.
