God's Promises

PROMISES

When others make a promise to us and keep it, we become confident in them because we have witnessed them holding up to their promise. However, we all know there are times when people back down on what they commit to and we are let down. We may have even backed down on a promise ourselves and let others down. God gives us many promises in His word. We can be assured His promises are true and He will never waiver on them. We can be confident in the promises of God. Always and forever.

2 Samuel 22:31 Gods way is perfect. All the LORDs promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know Your way is perfect yet we continue to put our trust in man and in the world. Help us to remember all day to look to You for Your promises rather than depending on anyone or anything else. We know You will hold true to Your word always and forever and we thank You and praise You. Thank You for Your protection and that we can put our confidence in You. In Jesus name. Amen.

When others let us down with their empty words, we can know God will never break His word to us.

Gods promises are true and always just. Why rely on anyones word rather than Gods?

Romans 4:20 Abraham never wavered in believing Gods promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. (NLT)

When we continue to trust in the Lords promises, our faith will grow stronger.

Romans 15:4b And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for Gods promises to be fulfilled. (NLT)

Gods word will give us the hope and encourage we need as we wait for Him to fulfill His promises to us.

Hebrews 10:35 So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! (NLT)

Focus: Our confident trust should be in God always and forever. He will never let us down.
