Courage To Pray

COURAGE TO PRAY

There will be times in our lives when we don’t know what to do. We are confused. We are hurt. We are lost. We need guidance and direction. We need a safe place to go where we know we will be heard, loved and comforted. Jesus tells us to follow Him. He tells us to come to Him. He tells us to talk to Him. When we follow Him, He will give us courage to make it through. He will give us what we need. We don’t have to be afraid when we are going through trials and troubles for God is with us and watching over us. We should have courage to pray for God’s guidance and direction in all things, at all times.

Psalm 23:4 “Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we come to You today in prayer. First, we thank You for Your greatness. You are so good. You do so many things we don’t even know or understand. We thank You for Your love and protection. We thank You for Your wisdom and guidance. We come to You for comfort and peace in the midst of all things. We come to You for direction and help to do the right things for You at all times. Help us and guide us today, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God will help and guide us if we trust and obey Him.

We can’t go wrong when we go to God.

God is all we need to help us though the good times and the difficult ones.

When we go to God to pray, He will give us the strength and courage we need to carry on.

We should have courage to pray for ourselves and for others in all things.

James 5:16 “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” (NLT)

It takes courage to pray, but takes even more courage, to be still, quiet your mind, and listen for the answers, and then learn to live the outcome.
