I make onion dip like this:

1 16 oz tub of sour cream
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix

Mix those together and put in the refrigerator for about an hour or so then it is ready.

That is the way I make it too! :) Although I may add parsley, chives, and/or ginger. Ginger helps with acidity and spice.
