God wants you to know that ... it is more than okay to live your joy.

Whatever makes your heart sing is what God wants for you! Of course it's okay to be happy! Of course it's okay to fulfill your heart's deepest desires! What your soul most dearly and deeply desires is the very thing God wants for you.

God wants you to know that ... you attract not what you want, but who you are.

If you want to change something in your life, focus on the inner, and God will take care of the outer.

God wants you to know that ... gratitude is good.

The more you are thankful for, the more you will have to be thankful for. God responds to a grateful heart with joy.

God wants you to know that ... simple life brings happiness.

When you fill your life with noise from TVs, chores from to-do lists, arguments from newspapers, where will you find space for love, relationships, faith and God? Cherish the simple things in life. Put the rest back on the shelf.

God wants you to know that ... there are times to celebrate.

Now is one of those times. What do you have to celebrate? Give praise and thanks for all that you have been given.

God wants you to know that ... peace will come when you let the presence of God settle into your heart.

If there is to be peace in the world, there must be peace in the nations. If there is to be peace in the nations, there must be peace in the cities. If there is to be peace in the cities, there must be peace between neighbors. If there is to be peace between neighbors, there must be peace in the home. If there is to be peace in the home, there must be peace in the heart.

God wants you to know that ... the life you are having is the life you are creating.

Even when this seems paradoxical on the surface, - how could you ever possibly want anything but happiness, - on a deeper level, there is something in you that is making it so. To transform your life you first must understand what is keeping it the way it is.

God wants you to know that ... you can stay strong through misfortune.

When times are rough, don’t fight it. Have patience. Storms wreak havoc in every life. But if you bend with the storm like a blade of grass and allow it to pass, soon you will stand upright again.

God wants you to know that ... you are beautiful.

Even when you feel ugly or depressed or guilty or ashamed, there is an inner spark in you which is light. This light is your beauty. This light is your reflection of God. You are a child of God, thus you are beautiful.

God wants you to know that ... you can let loose!

It's been a while since you've planned something completely spontaneous. Today, do something fun and silly. Dance in the rain. Open a play-dough bakery. Have a dress-up party. Enjoy yourself!

God wants you to know that ... prayer is not a ritualized mumbling of words but a song of thanksgiving or a dance of praise; it is anguished cries or pleas from a yearning heart.

If your prayer has no emotion, it has no power. God wants to know how you feel. God wants to hear what's in your heart.

As I have said before, my mother use to say to me as a teenager, `Is your prayer so weak it hits the ceiling and bounces back?`

God wants you to know that ... you are to trust yourself.

If you do not, then you will forever be looking to others to prove your own merit to you, and you will never be satisfied. You will always be asking others what to do and at the same time resenting their help. Trust in yourself starts with being ok with the consequences of your decisions.

God wants you to know that ... you are wonderfully made.

Look at the world around you, the infinite detail and creativity. Unimaginable beauty surrounds us every day. You are part of that creation, materializing from the same artist that created sunsets and rainbows. Don't ever allow yourself to think you are anything less than wonderful.

God wants you to know that ... circumstances don't make you, they reveal you.

How you respond to the life God offers you is what makes you.
