“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:43-45

A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit. Proverbs 15:13

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 - 16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, 17 comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 2 Thessalonians 1:3

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength. Proverbs 17:22

Psalm 75:3 - 3 When the earth quakes and its people live in turmoil, I am the one who keeps its foundations firm.

Better a little with the fear of the Lord than great wealth with turmoil. Proverbs 15:15

February 10

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:10
