It's Our Choice
 

IT'S OUR CHOICE

As believers, the freedoms we have are many. We have the right to choose what we will do, who we will hang out with and even what we will eat each day. However, the most important choice we will ever make is who will allow to influence our lives. When we choose to follow the world, we will remain lost and we will never be satisfied. However, when we choose Jesus, and live to obey Him, we will have peace, joy and many, many other blessings.

Romans 6:16 "Don't you realize that whatever you choose to obey becomes your master? You can choose sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God and receive his approval." (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to remember it is our choice when it comes to selecting whom we will follow. It is our choice who we choose to allow to influence us during our lifetime. Help us to focus on You. Help us to remember to follow You. Even when it seems like nothing is going right, we can put our hope and our trust in You. We want to be influenced by Your word. We want to live in obedience to You. Help us today, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

When we choose to put positive things in our minds and stay connected to those who follow Christ, we will make better choices.

God can help us with His word to better understand Him and know our purpose in life.

Choosing Jesus brings freedoms like no other. With Him we are able to have all we need.

We can choose mentors who will show us how to better live for God.

We actually choose who we want to influence us. We should choose those who follow God and choose His word to live by.

Joshua 24:15b "But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD." (NLT)

Focus: We should choose Jesus to be our role model in all areas of our lives.
