Open and Receptive
I am open and receptive to divine inspiration.
I may not always be conscious of the ongoing monologue taking place in my mind. At times my thoughts may take an about turn and become lost in examination of the past or worry about the future.
There is a better way: My practice of daily meditation lays the foundation for greater awareness at all times. This awareness helps me turn away from any repetitive, negative thoughts. As I become open and receptive to divine inspiration, I take control of my own inner world of thoughts.
If there is a need that comes to mind, I become quiet and still--aware of and attentive to God's guiding presence within me. Fully present in the moment, I pose a question or release any burden. God is within me. I am open and receptive as I listen to and follow through on divine inspiration.
