One of the best techniques for cooling off anger was suggested by Mrs. Grace Oursler. She formerly

employed the usual "count to ten" technique but happened to notice that the first ten words of the

Lord's Prayer worked better. "Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name." When angry,

say that ten times and your anger will lose its power over you.
