GLORY

Glory is defined as magnificence and great beauty. It is also defined as praise or worship offered to God. We can bring glory to God by our actions and words. Our actions and words should not be of the world but should be pleasing to God. We are here to bring glory to Him. We bring glory to God when we tell the truth, do what is right and share His word with others. We should live our lives every day with the goal to bring glory to God.

Romans 6:13 “Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we want to live to please You. We want to do what is right and bring glory to Your name. We give ourselves completely to You so we can be an instrument to do what is right for Your glory. We want to live in a way that pleases You and we want others to see Jesus in us. Direct us and guide us today, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we live as God calls us to live, we bring glory to His name.

When we offer praise and worship to God, we bring Him glory.

When others can see Jesus in us, we are bringing glory to God.

Doing what is right isn’t always easy but it always brings glory to God.

When we seek the glory God offers, we will have eternal life.

Romans 2:7 “He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.” (NLT)

Focus: Live to please God and give glory to His name.
