Nothing Is Wasted Here
 

All of us will realize when we're all new to recovery that not everyone we meet in recovery is by any means doing well, but still all the same they are still here and part of what we'll all find in recovery. They are here for a reason and as we all progress in our own recovery we'll all see why they are here. Some of us are sicker than others, but no matter how sick any of us might be, we're all allowed to be here in recovery, and it's a good thing that we are, because this is what helps everyone who is here in recovery. Even though when we're new all of us will wish that certain people wouldn't be here in recovery, but they are, and it's because of them being here, that all of us will get to learn that nothing is wasted here in recovery, and that everyone has a purpose and a reason for being here. If we all can open ourselves up to this then all of us will be able to benefit from recovery. All of us had lives that were full of all kinds of waste by the time we all get to recovery and now none of us have to live that way any more, and by all of us embracing all that we find here in recovery none of us will be, and we'll all be made better by doing so.
