Happy Mothers Day

How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing. Luke 13:34

Mothers from every species (birds, animals, reptiles, us humans) are special. They have an inborn nature or duty to gather their broods and keep them safe. We take it as our responsibility to build the house and maintain the family peace.

So we can relate to this scripture very well. Isn't it comforting to know that our Lord has the very same concern for us. To gather us under His mighty wings! What a privilege it is to abide under His protection!

As we enjoy the festivities today let us remember the love our Father has for us, so that we can continue to be unconditional in loving our brood.
