Are We Ready
 

Only we get to decide when we're ready for recovery, we have to choose it, no one can make us do this, we have got to want it. This is not an easy thing to get to, having to make that choice, it is easy enough to make, but getting there to the place where we all have to decide is never easy for any of us to do. It is usually marked by a long period of failures and defeats in which none of us can stand up to. Don't worry when this happens because from here we can get what we've always wanted and didn't know how to find by joining recovery and practicing the steps of recovery. For those of us who don't want to do that, and there are many of them among us who don't want to, we feel sorry for them because we know that without recovery things will just continue to get worse.
