When Things Don't Go Rite!?!

When Things Don't Go Rite!?!

Down the Path to the Well--a thought to remember along the way

Now, of course, I know how to spell...rite is RIGHT....but there are days when things don't go right no matter HOW you spell it! You wind up the cat and put out the clock. You reach for the chocolate and somebody ELSE ate the last piece! You can't even find a tissue when it's time to blow your nose! Granted, minor irritations can annoy--but life is full of major blows and burdens, way bigger than cats and clocks, chocolate and Kleenex! So what to do?

Before I could figure life out this morning, into my early-morning brain began playing a tune.....I reached with my memory powers, whatever's left of them, and discovered an old song serenading within my soul--"Great Is Thy Faithfulness." Now if you reach far enough down in your soul today, you'll find a song He's put there for you too. That's how He is--He's faithful! Whatever your problem! Whatever your mood! You may be up or down, in or out, high or low, yet HE remains faithful.

Remember that as YOU go looking for the cat, the clock, the chocolate, the Kleenex--and whatever else is going wrong for YOU today...HE is faithful ALL the time! Now go find that song in YOUR heart and have a great day!

Delight in a Word from the Well--a refreshing in the Water of His Word

"...his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness
(Lamentations 3:22,23)."

Draw from the Well--a prayer for renewing strength for this day

"Lord, there are days when nothing goes right--inside me, around me, beyond me--and You know it well. You know my highs and my lows--and You're there, always, within my heart, with a song, a word, a nudge. You're faithful--and I love You. May I be deeply aware of Your awesome faithfulness and presence in my life this day, Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

My God paid the price. He paves my way. Recovery is a journey not a destination. It depends on how we want to walk it.

When I saw this picture, my thought was "Life Springs Eternal."
