Default What We're Willing To Work For

Life in recovery is for those of us who want it and are willing to do the work. It's not something that's given to any of us, or something that we can buy. It's only for those of us who are willing to admit complete defeat and begin from there. In recovery there's no room for fighting anything or anyone. It doesn't work that way, and it will never work for any of us who are fighting something. This is when our work begins when we find ourselves fighting something . As long as we're willing to do that work we'll be able to stay in recovery, and for those of us who become unwilling to do that work we won't be able to stay in our recovery, it's that simple. That's how we want it, by being willing to do what it takes to get recovery. And for those of us who don't want to do that we soon learn that our life will eventually become a disaster without recovery. Either way it's going to be work, it's just a matter of what we are willing to working for.
