Default It's Time To Move On

By the time we reach recovery we all have one thing in common: we know there's a problem, and none of us ever like having to admit to this, and lot's of us won't. Two things happen when we won't admit it, first things only tend to get worse, and secondly it keeps us from being able to do anything about it. What we need to realize now, it is time to move on, it's too late to go bad and change things so that they won't turn out the way they have. We have a problem and it's time to admit to it, by doing this we can start to learn how to live with it, so that we get over having it, and stop being defeated by it. Recovery can show us how we can do that. Take a moment to reflect back, then look at where we are, and then become willing to move on to something better. Trying to go back and change things never really works, and it only serves to keep us from being able to do anything about our problem, so that we can have any real chance at getting and staying in recovery. It's time to let go and to move on, and to put the past behind us and all that it has meant to us. This way we can move on to better things, much better than any of us could've ever imagined or hoped for.
