We're all Conflicted
Lots of us reach the point where life has no value to us whatsoever and we couldn't see any reason to want to go on living anymore. It was over for all of us. Life itself is a gift and we all knew that what we didn't know was, it was the way that we had to live because of us having this problem that was causing all of us not to want to live any more. We're all conflicted, because deep down inside all of us there is the desire to want to live life to the fullest, yet somehow we all knew we couldn't do that for some strange reason that none of us could figure out why that was. No matter how hard all of us tried there was something wrong and the worst part was we didn't know what that was. In recovery we find out that this has been the same for all of us. It's what this problem does to all of us. It takes away our deep desire to want to live by making our life a living hell because of the way we had to live because of having it. Because none of us knew of any other way that we could live we all thought that we didn't have any choice but to live the way we were. But there is another way and it's found in recovery and there all of us can get back our deep desire to want to live again. All we have to do to begin to get this back is to become willing to learn how to live the way recovery teaches us to live, and then all of us will have that desire to want to live again, for ourselves as well.
