Default Search For Strength

SEARCH FOR STRENGTH

There are going to be days when we just want to give up. There are going to be times when we want to give in. There are going to be situations in life where we just decide we don’t really care. That is just the devil wanting us to stop doing God’s will. We have to strongly desire to do the will of God despite the circumstances. We have to put the past behind us and not dwell on the situation but focus on God.
Desire for God’s will to be done will help us search for His strength to never give up. We should continually seek Him in all we do and we will find His strength to carry on.

Psalm 105:4 “Search for the LORD and for his strength; continually seek him.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we come to You for strength. We search for Your strength to help us carry on. We seek Your face to give us peace. We seek Your presence to give us comfort. We seek Your words to give us hope. Your peace, comfort and hope will help us to move from the past that immobilizes us so we can carry on the work You have assigned us to do. We know You have all we need and we seek You today for strength. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we want to give up, we should look up to God. He can help.

When we can’t break bad habits and we continue to do them, God can help stop.

When we continue to dwell on the past which immobilizes us, we can go to God for help.

We can put the past behind us and stop dwelling on the hard times in life when we put our focus on God.

Desire for God’s will to be done will help us search for His strength to never give up.

Isaiah 57:10 “You grew weary in your search, but you never gave up. Desire gave you renewed strength, and you did not grow weary.” (NLT)
