Default There is a place for each of us in God's grand plan

LIVING THE SOLUTION WITH DAILY INSPIRATION
For who do you know that really knows you, knows your heart? And even if they did, is there anything they would discover in you that you could take credit for? Isn't everything you have and everything you are sheer gifts from God? So what's the point of all this comparing and competing? You already have all you need. You already have more access to God than you can handle. (1 Corinthians 4:7-8 — The Message)

How often we forget we are what and who we are because of God. We are the way He created us with our gifts, talents, abilities, our longings and deepest desires. These are not the results of anything we have done. Yes, we may cultivate them, exercise them and develop them, but we did not create them. They are all gifts from God.

God has given each of us everything we need to complete and fulfill the mission, calling or purpose for which He created us. We are all unique for a reason. There is a place for each of us in God's grand plan that only we can fill and if we don’t no one else can. That is why it is pointless to go about comparing and contrasting our abilities with the abilities of others. We are not all competing for the same spot. We all have our own spot that only we can fill! And we already have all that we need to fill that spot. We just need to trust and follow God. Hear His voice and act on what you hear Him saying and see Him doing.

So stop comparing yourself to others. God made you just as He wanted and needed. He makes no comparisons between you and someone else. You are just the person He needs and He has the perfect place and plan for you. Trust Him.

Live it with passion,

Pete Reinbold
