ENCOURAGE WITH TEACHING

Most of us can probably remember a good teacher we had at some point in our life. It may have been as early as kindergarten. It may have been in elementary school or even high school. We can remember why we really liked that teacher and how he or she motivated and encouraged us. Good teachers are patient, lead people the right way and encourage them. We have opportunities to be good teachers of Gods word in our actions and in our words to those we encounter every day.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know the greatest teacher of all is Jesus. We can learn so much from His life here on earth. We can see how He rebuked Satan. We can read how He was patient in the midst of turmoil. We can model how He encouraged others with good teaching from Your word. Help us to follow Jesus example of being a good teacher and not be afraid to step out and share Your word with others. In Jesus name. Amen.

We should look for opportunities to teach others who are in need of encouragement from Gods word.

We can learn a lot from those who encourage others through their teaching.

The best role model to learn from is the greatest teacher Jesus Christ.

We can be teachers of Gods word in our daily actions and by choosing our words carefully.

We are commanded to teach Gods word and encourage believers to follow His word.

Titus 2:15a You must teach these things and encourage the believers to do them. (NLT)

Focus: We should seek opportunities to teach Gods word and to encourage those around us.
