I am grateful to be home today. I have been in a recovery house for people who can't do for themselves due to surgery and broken bones like mine. I have yet to have surgery although it is a possibility for the future. Being a bleeder, hesitate to say yes. Being diabetic, saw too many people with infections, myself included.
When you see people with no limbs or no feet, you have a lot of reasons to be grateful that you can walk. My feet may swell, but they are still there.
