X is for EXtra. When I am coming up on an anniversary, I do eXtra meetings and try to make a point of visiting meetings that were instrumental in my growth in my early recovery. When I am hurting, I try to say eXtra prayers, knowing that I can't get through these challenges on my own. When I need an attitude adjustment, I do eXtra meetings until I can realign things and make things right with my God.
