I knew I didn't want to drink, but didn't want to wear the label alcoholic. For many years, I started saying, "I have a desire not to drink today. " Quoting the 3rd Tradition.
It was my own denial. I was told to keep coming back and I did.
I agree, she was sharing her ESH with others, that is all any of us can do. No one is a leading authority on anything. As a long time member and I agreed, the longer I am in the program, the less I know.
