If we all could think our way out of this none of us would ever have to be here in recovery in the first place but we can't, and that is why all of us are here to begin with because we can't, none of us can. And even though none of us liked being here in recovery when we all first got here, in time we're all glad that we are here because recovery has done for all of us what none of us could do for ourselves. And what we're all thinking about when we get here has very little to do with recovery, and with what's going to happen to all of us from now on. That's going to determine for all of us by our actions, not our thinking. Sure we can all think our way right out of recovery, and that's been done thousands of times by a lot of us, and isn't that hard for any of us to do, but what is hard for all of us and has nothing to do with what all of us are thinking, is the actions that we find in recovery. None of us will ever be able to think our way into recovery. This can only be done by us taking certain actions that all of us will need to take in order for any of us to do this, and all these actions to take can be found here in recovery. After we all have taken these actions we'll all be changed in ways that none of us even knew anything about before we were even willing to take these actions. This is guaranteed for anyone who is willing to allow themselves to take these actions you'll be changed, and for the better, and all of us can take these action, and all of us will if we want to. Then we too will be one of those who will have been changed for the better, just like everyone else who has been willing to take these actions, and like all of us who have taken them has been changed.
