Default Christ in you is the hope of glory

Triumph

I am a triumphant expression of God.

The apostle Paul told early Christians “Christ in you, (is) the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27). In his final days of earthly life, Unity cofounder Charles Fillmore referenced these words to a friend as the “most important words in the world.” In times when I may feel fearful or lonely, I turn to Christ, my hope of glory. I may find answers in conversations with family and friends, or in literature, music, and nature. The love of God reveals itself and I return to a place of contentment.

Over time, my spiritual muscles strengthen. Like a flower, I open and blossom into wholeness. God has given me many gifts, talents, and abilities. I am a triumphant expression of God.
But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads in every place the fragrance that comes from knowing him.—2 Corinthians 2:14
