I learned by hitting the wrong buttons, there are just some techie things that escape me, and I am lost, but I keep trying. It took me a year to learn to copy, cut, and paste, and now I know there are about 5 ways to do it.
We didn`t get this way overnight, so it stands to reason, that we don`t get better over night. The program isn`t a quick fix, it is a way of living.
I picked up my first drink at 10 (a glass of communion wine that I stole), was put on Valium by my doctor at 16, and had my last drink at 49, in August 1991. So I used for 39 years, and here I am with 22 years of recovery, still needing the program, one day at a time. In today, I choose not to use and abuse myself and other people, places, and things.
