Gratitude Another day of gratitude Fades gently with the night Mine has been the privilege To pray and read and write Sobriety again is mine Earned by the Grace of God Learning one day at a time The path others have trod I haven't had a drink today What happens matters not Easy does it, first things first I haven't lost the plot Applied the Program for today Shared with AA friends Another four-and-twenty hours Where the story ends - Just for today.
