Determination leads to victory by Alive to God

We face challenge and attack on every side. We know that the devil wants to steal, kill and destroy us but it even goes further. He wants to devour us.

1 Peter 5:8-9 the devil, roams around like a lion roaring, seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith [rooted, established, strong, immovable and determined].

We are called upon to withstand the attacks of satan and one of the tools we must use is our determination. I once heard a song by Carmen. In the song he used the following words: ‘I have drawn a line in the sand and I will not be moved.’ That is determination! When we take such a stand and get to the point of decisive determination we are setting ourselves up for success, victory and overcoming!

God destined for us to be people who overcome. People who walk in victory. This is only possible as we determine to be determined!
