Default P-O-W-E-R Day 3: Prepare

P-O-W-E-R Day 3: Prepare by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Scripture: The ants are a people not strong, Yet they prepare their food in the summer;
Proverbs 30:25 NKJV

Today’s Thought:
Ants prepare for winter,
John prepared the way for Jesus’ first coming, (Mark 1:3)
and Jesus in heaven is preparing a place for us,( John 14:2)
so should we be busy preparing ourselves and the world we influence for Jesus’ second coming.

All through scripture we see the word “prepare”.
Whether it was Kings, Prophets, people or animals, all were preparing for something.

Prepare means to put in proper condition or to get something ready.
I would think that could mean setting some spiritual goals for ourselves this New Year.

Today’s Prayer:
I really want to set some daily goals for myself.
I want to focus on getting myself ready for what You would have me to do this year, and I want to be as ready as I can be for Jesus’ return.
Therefore, I want to prepare myself by setting some spiritual goals.
Help me Lord to know what goals to set, for I want my daily life to reflect you in all that I do, so that I can be a good influence to the world around me.

Today’s Action: Prepare
Set some spiritual goals for yourself this year.

Some suggestions are:

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, Philippians 3:10
Seek to know Him more.
Seek to learn more about His Power.
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14
Seek to press forward daily
be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10
Seek to be strong in the Lord
