God’s The Light

I hear this voice that’s inside
Saying Babe Babe just one more ride….

It wasn’t long ago I was outside by the trash can
Where I bowed my head I reached for the Hand….

I asked God to set me free
From the chains that has bound me….

He said that he would, but I had to do one thing
Let others know about his amazing grace….

I have not always done what He has asked
Yet my life is better than it was in the past….

He comes upon me from time to time
And tells me He loves me, I hear the wind chyme….

I look outside and see a squirrel run across the street
I see visions of me bowing at Jesus feet….

What it will be like on that day
We will see the Sun and feel the warm rays….

We will know than and there
That there was many in our lives who cared….

We will be free from everything at last
There will not be anything left in the past….

For that time we will see a true light…
And it will be Jesus oh He will shine so bright….

He will take us in His arms and hold us tight…
Saying my child you did everything right….

Even though you made some mistakes
You were never a person that was fake!
