PROTECTION

If we were to open up and share with each other our deepest burdens or secrets, we would better understand each other. Sharing with one another helps us grow stronger together and allows us to pray for one another. Many times we don’t want to share with others what troubles we face every day because we don’t want to appear weak. So we keep it in and continue to struggle. However, we can open up and share with God every day. He will guide us and protect us. He will comfort us and give us rest. When we are devoted to God and share everything with Him, He will protect us.

Psalm 86:2 “Protect me, for I am devoted to you. Save me, for I serve you and trust you. You are my God.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to share with one another today. Help us to let them know how they can pray for us. Help us to let them know what problems we are having in our lives. When we open up to godly people, they will pray for us. When they pray, You will open up opportunities to help and protect us. When You open up opportunities, we will find protection and can share of Your goodness and mercy with others. We want to devote ourselves to You, Lord, and build relationships that with glorify You and make disciples of all we meet. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

As we share our sufferings with others, they will share with us. Then we can both share in the comfort from God.

When we are devoted to God and share everything with Him, He will protect us.

When we open up to godly people, they will pray for us.

When we are devoted to God and share everything with Him, He will give us protection and comfort.

We can share with others in our sufferings and in the comfort God can give us.

2 Corinthians 1:7 “We are confident that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in the comfort God gives us.” (NLT)

Focus: Being devoted to God means we share with others about our shortcomings as well as how God protects and loves us.
