In the Al-Anon closing we read one line that says "If you keep an open mind you will find help".
Do you try to keep an open mind?
A good reminder, always try to think of it as "finding our own truth." What works for others may not work for me, but I need to connect with my Higher Power and find what is good for me. He puts people in my path, and as my sponsor use to say, "You can learn two things, 'How to work your program and how not to work your program.'"
I heard at a meeting, very early in my recovery, "Don't keep such an open mind that everything falls out of it."
