From the Book
Things My Sponsors Taught ME By Paul H. On Being Caught Short Away from Home You can always pee in a gas station or a McDonald’s – you never need to be in a tavern. Using the rest room of a tavern under most circumstances seems harmless. But if we never go into a tavern, we’ll never buy a drink in a tavern. When I had been sober for nearly a year, my wife had to leave town, and there was some booze in the house. I asked her to give it away or throw it away, so I couldn’t possible get into trouble with it. I had no craving, no desire, but I recognized a possible problem. It was easier to solve the problem this way than to risk everything on my frail strength. Please share your Experience, Strength, and Hope
