As I have shared before, I stood in front of a roomful of AA members, speaking at a member's 3 year anniversary, and said, "I didn't know I had an ego, I thought it was a man thing." The looks on the faces were priceless. The lesson I learned was priceless. When we build ourselves up so big that our head can't get through, there is no room for anything but Self. When you deflate the ego, you are a clean clear channel for the Lord.
EGO - Easing God Out. When we are full of Self, we have no room or thought of God and His Will for us in today.
