Comfort
God is my friend and guide, my comfort and strength.
God is with me at all times and in all circumstances. When I set out on a new adventure, filled with hope and excitement for experiences that lie ahead, God is with me. When events in life are running routinely and easily and I am content and at peace, God is with me. Even when I am faced with a challenge that seems insurmountable or have experienced the loss of someone or something precious to me, God is with me.
I am never alone. I am never without. Though life’s experiences are ever-changing and may at times feel daunting, God is constant throughout it all. As my friend and guide, my comfort and strength, my security and support, God is with me always.
“He has said, ‘I will never leave you or forsake you.’ So we can say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.’” —Hebrews 13:5-6
