Proverbs 26:20 [NKJV] Today’s Thought: This verse is saying that gossip is like wood fueling a fire. By withholding wood from a fire you cause it to go out and in same way you could cause a quarrel to cease by withholding gossip. Therefore, resist the urge to gossip or repeat things, even if they are true, and you will bring peace instead of strife. Giving Others Some Strife Instead of Peace Acrostic by-–Leona J.
