Heart for the Lord Day 27 by SGLY Ministry

UNDERSTANDING HEART
“When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes, and snatches away what was sown in his heart..” (Jesus) Matthew 13:19 (NKJV)

Today’s Thought:
An Understanding Heart takes what it hears and perceives the meaning. It interprets the facts but also believes in faith. It has good comprehension.
The enemy has a hard time snatching away the word that is sown in an Understanding Heart.

Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord, today I ask that You create in me an Understanding Heart, so I can understand your word and keep it in my heart, then the enemy will not be able to snatch any of it away from me.
I pray that Your Holy Spirit, who dwells within me, will give me an Understanding Heart so I can understand Your word and then go forth to produce an abundance of fruit for You, because, “But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” (Jesus) Matthew 13:23
