Hello! My name is Sharlann, and I am an addict. My clean day is 8-28-2002. This includes all drugs, even alcohol. I do not separate alcohol from other drugs.
I am a firm believer that clean time doesn't mean squat if you haven't changed. I have stayed clean this long, one day at a time. *smiles* I am grateful for this forum and read the daily devotionals every day!! Thank you!!

Welcome to the site Sharlann. Most have been more tired than I thought. Don't know how I missed your post.

I don't separate them either, that is why I have been going to NA. I went at the beginning of my recovery to AA because of my denial about alcohol.

So looking forward to sharing with you.

Hi,

This is SlimG. Just checking in. I hope everyone is doing well in their sobriety.

I've been sober over one year and life just keeps getting better.

I have to thank my HP for that!

Take care all.

Welcome SlimG. Thank you for signing in and saying hello. Congratulations on your sobriety. Life does get better doesn't it. I know I was told that the worst day in recovery is a lot better than the best day when I was using, and it was true for this alcoholic/addict.

I hope you will continue to come and share your recovery with us.
