sobriety - almost 5 months
water

my family
friends, in and out of AA
exercise
knee healing/less pain
rain, and then the sun coming after the rain
walks outside
pizza
icecream
my computer
journaling
opportunity to write about what I care about
service
watching my nephew play soccer
not seeing the world in black and white anymore
prayer
meditation

getting some relief from character defects the past two days
friends, new and old
prayer & meditation
yoga & gym
planes

pretty mugs
water/being hydrated
not waking up hungover anymore

my car, computer, phone, apartment
cherry blossoms in bloom
Spring is here
family
friends, in and out of AA
my students and the class I teach
doing well in my program
haven't self-harmed in 5 months
becoming more ok with myself and being single

step work

comfy clothes
hiking and yoga
solitude and serenity
knee feeling better
accepting myself today
less anxiety/stress about things that don't matter

Grateful for...
catching up on sleep
my sobriety (5 months on monday!)
service positions
friends in the program
first soccer game today
didn't overeat yesterday and losing some weight
less knee pain
warmer weather and cherry blossoms
family
less anxiety/stress
my sponsor
got a job offer yesterday!
coffee and tea
prayer and journaling
meetings
my bed
apartment and car
doing well in my program

Today I am grateful for...

5 months of sobriety.
My higher power.
Music.
Friends in the program.
Weather should be really warm by the end of this week.
Walks outside.
Playing soccer and doing yoga.
Acceptance.
Meeting got canceled so I have more time to do work.
Job interview went well yesterday.
Feeling OK in my own skin today.
Trusting and living in the process.
Get to go on a trip this weekend.
Only five more weeks in the semester left.
Interrupting my old thought patterns, slowly but surely.

another day sober.
higher power and lessons learned daily.
great friends in AA and in my cohort.
perspective
coffee
yoga
prayer
plants
going for walks in nature
honesty
therapy
learning to be ok with just being me.
tea
fruit
vegetables
doing well in my classes for the most part.
sleep.
